What Domain Rating tells you
Domain Rating is a 0–100 measure of the overall strength of a website's backlink profile. Higher scores usually mean the domain has links from more authoritative and diverse websites.
Use it to compare competitors, qualify outreach opportunities and monitor authority over time. It is not a Google ranking factor by itself, and a high score never guarantees rankings.
Is this an estimated AI score?
No. Serpling only displays a rating when the configured backlink-index provider returns live data. If live data is unavailable, the page says so clearly.
Why can ratings differ between SEO tools?
Every provider crawls a different portion of the web and uses its own formula. Compare trends inside one tool instead of treating ratings from separate indexes as identical.
How do I improve my rating?
Earn relevant editorial links from independent, trustworthy websites. Avoid bulk spam links: quality, topical relevance and referring-domain diversity matter more than raw link count.
