Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Serpling collects, why, and what you control. We keep it short and specific rather than boilerplate.

What we collect

• Account details — your first name and email address. Passwords are stored only as salted scrypt hashes; we never see or store the plain text.
• Workspace data — the website you connect, its sitemap and public page URLs, your keywords, generated articles and publishing settings.
• Integration credentials — e.g. a WordPress application password or Shopify access token, stored so we can publish on your behalf. They are used for nothing else.
• Usage records — credit balances and generation history, so billing and quotas work.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Cookies

One cookie: rp_session, which keeps you signed in. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure over HTTPS. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on this site.

Third parties we send data to

• kie.ai — receives your article topic, brand summary and custom instructions to generate text and images.
• Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google" (we receive your email and name), or if you connect Google Analytics.
• PayPal — handles subscription payments. Card details go to PayPal directly; Serpling never receives or stores them.
• Your own CMS — WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or a webhook you configure, to publish your articles.

Where your data lives

On our own server. Generated cover images are stored on that server's disk. Backups of the database are taken nightly and kept for 30 days.

Your rights

You can export or delete your workspace at any time from Settings, or email us to have your account and all associated data erased. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to access, correct, restrict, or port your data, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. After deletion, data is removed from live systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.
